The latest addition of Style & Race – Tina Arbinger
Today I’m able to present the latest addition of Style & Race to you – the young race driver Tina Arbinger! She already gained some experience in the formula sport but now she aims for a place in a touring car series. But she will tell you more herself 🙂
Name: Tina Arbinger
Date of birth: 19.11.1995
Domicile: Deggendorf, Deutschland
Experience: SAKC, Formel ADAC, Kart Masters
Licenc: internationale C-Lizenz
Role model: Max Verstappen
Tina, how did you get into race driving?
I went karting with my Dad and it was so much fun for me that I decided to want my own kart. Already after a few weeks I was able to train at Garching, close to Munich, at a race track and a month later I had my first race.
What was your most exciting experience in motorsport?
Already at my second race (SAKC) I was able to reach the p 5! Unfortunately, after that my kart was manipulated. The entire air filter was full with sand.
A really positive experience was the invite of Formula BMW to Brands Hatch, UK, about a year into my career. There I was able to take my first laps in a formula car. This is how I got into these series.
What is your goal?
My goal is to start in the GT Masters and be able to get into the DTM afterwards. Additionally, for me it’s very important to show that women can be very fast and successful in motorsport to.
Who is your role model and why?
Max Verstappen! Even though he is only 18 years old he is able to compete against top drivers like Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg. He is self-confident, ambitious and knows exactly what he wants.
I’m able to join and support Tina on her motorsport journey as management! I’m excited about this new challenge and can’t wait to see what the future holds in stock for us.
