Before it is time for the next edition of the famous Rolex 24 at Daytona Speedway, I would like to look back to the past two years. In 2018 and 2019 I used the US based race to capture content for PUMA Motorsport, meet some of our partner’s drivers and invite a photographer to join us on track.
Team Penske, BMW M and Porsche Motorsport – the drivers of these teams have one thing in common: they all wear the big cat when pushing the gas pedal. With the F1 and DTM seasons yet to come, Daytona has the perfect date to show a different side of motorsports and capture behind the scenes content for the PUMA Motorsport fans.
For the 2018 edition of the 24h race we captured content with Team Penske as well as BMW M Motorsport. For us it was most important to engage with our audience, to take a look behind the scenes and to get some stories with the drivers, talking to our followers.
Last year our focus was on the new relationship with Porsche Motorsports as well as involving an US based influencer to represent a more lifestyle, sneaker focused audience. Brian (Instagram.com/1st) was able to ride along one of the BMW on track, experienced the famous race track bank and took a peek inside the pits. He was also front row, when our partners of BMW M claimed the title in their class.
